Tony Johnson,
President/Founder

A proven leader, business owner, author, trainer and product developer with 20+ years of experience. Industry experience includes telecom, hardware and software development, commerce, marketing, IT infrastructure and support, financial and higher education.
Tony has authored 40 books since 2004 as well as numerous other learning products for various PMI and IIBA credentials. Tony has helped created over 100,000 of the PMPs on planet earth. Tony has contributed to the last three PMBOK Guides, program and portfolio management standards, as well as being a core team member of the Seventh Edition PMBOK Guide with PMI.
Also possessing the following credentials PMP, PgMP, PfMP, PMI-PBA, CSP-SM, CSP-PO, CSPO, CSM, CAPM, PMI-RMP, PMI-SP, Project+, CCBA, PMI-ACP, CBAP.
Joanne has a BS in Computer Science, a BA in Business Administration & a Master of Science in Project Management from Boston University. She is also a student at Capella University, pursuing her Ph.D. in Project Management.

Lyn Heaton, Board Member

Lyn is the owner of Heaton Business Consultants, LLC providing project management training since 2008 in a variety of settings; corporate, military, PMI chapters, and the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
She is an active member of the Kansas City Chapter of PMI (Project Management Institute), previously serving on their board of directors as the VP of Professional Development.
Lyn received her Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification in 2001 and holds a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
Lyn previously worked for 19+ years in the Telecommunications industry at Sprint Nextel. During that time, she worked on many of their multi-million dollar projects in the Long Distance and Wireless divisions.

William H (Bill) Dannenmaier is a trainer and consultant in project and risk management at BlackBox Partners. He has industry experience managing projects and programs in energy (upstream and downstream), telecommunications, Information Technology (IT), consulting, and the military.
Bill has worked with clients to establish processes specific to their industry and corporate environment. Bill has designed and taught classes on five continents using ISO, PMI, and FAI standards for projects and risk assessment. Bill contributed to PMBOK® Guide version 6 but bases his classes on the standard appropriate to the customer.
Bill has an MBA from Cornell University, an MA from the College of William and Mary, and a BS from Austin Peay State University. Bill graduated from Officer Candidate School, Surface Warfare Officer Basic, and Main Propulsion Assistant schools in the U.S. Navy. Bill is certified as an administrator of the Myers-Briggs Type Instrument (MBTI) and a Project Management Professional (PMP®).

Bill Flanagan,
Board Member

Bill Flanagan has been a leader of people and projects for forty years. He began his career with the United States Navy, where he served as a Nuclear Submarine Engineering Officer. This was followed by twenty-six years with Progress Energy providing leadership in both lines of business management positions and major nuclear plant upgrade and improvement projects.
Since retiring from Progress Energy in 2005, Bill has worked with Black Diamond Services, Inc as a Senior Project Management Consultant, gathering lessons learned on project successes and failures around the world. Today Bill is a Senior Instructor for Knowledge Source Inc, where he teaches PMP Examination Prep Classes, PMI-RMP Examination Prep Classes, and Risk Management Workshops. He is a past Vice-president of Education for the North Carolina Chapter of the Project Management Institute. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science in Management from North Carolina State University. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of North Carolina and holds a Project Management Professional and a Risk Management Professional Certification with the Project Management Institute.
